| About the Farm | The Foster Farm in Creek County, Oklahoma was designated an Oklahoma Centennial Farm by the Oklahoma Historical Society in 2003. The 160 acres were allotted to Louise Beartail before statehood as part of the Creek Indian allotments distributed by the United States government. Ms. Beartail was a very young child when the land was assigned to her and when she married at the age of 17 in 1920, she and her new husband, Dallas Foster, moved to the land and began raising cotton. |
