| About the Farm | The Deffenbaugh Homestead Ranch in Lincoln County Oklahoma was designated as an Oklahoma Centennial Farm and Ranch in May 1992. C.D. Deffenbaugh acquired the original 160 acres in November of 1891. After having harvested bones on the land prior to the Run he returned to the section, retrieved the numbers from the stakes, proceeded to Guthrie where he located the owner, and purchased it. He and his wife Rosa raised cattle, horses, hogs and chickens along with corn, cotton, hay, and sorghum. |
