At the time of this designation eighty of the original 160 acres remained owned by a family member. William A. Beasler acquired the land in 1903 and in 1905 he passed eighty acres to his brother Charles and his wife Harriett. Original crops and livestock included milo, hogs, chickens, cattle, and sheep. |
