| Description | Lee Denney was interviewed October 12, 2007 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Denney was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2004 and is currently serving. She represents House District 33 and is a member of the Republican Party. Dr. Denney talks about her education at Oklahoma State University, about developing an interest in running for the legislature and about a few campaign strategies.She also discusses some of the subjects of the legislation she has sponsored such as nursing homes, the Rise School, and pet quality assurance. |
